BeApe is a French Bistro in Taipei that had its branding inspired by wild monkeys in Chinese folklore. It has been said that monkeys were so obsessed with fine wine and that they would go to the extend of brewing such upon themselves. With this in mind, the identity features stylized illustrations of the drunken creatures.
